The Stro Cos. has brought a Wyckoff industrial building to full occupancy after recently completing a 16,500-square-foot lease, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson said Tuesday.
The real estate services firm announced that it represented Stro, the landlord at 500 West Main St., in the transaction with PRE Sales Inc. The tenant, which manufactures, imports and distributes commercial grade portable furniture and event and hospitality equipment, is relocating to the 120,000-square-foot building from Moonachie and will use the space to store and distribute furniture.
NAI Hanson’s Andrew Somple and Justin Allessio completed the assignment.
“Due to the lack of industrial product and rising rental rates in the Meadowlands, we are seeing a shift westward as industrial users are getting priced out of this highly favorable market,” Allessio said. “With an eye on this trend, we recognized the value proposition of 500 West Main Street and as a result, were able to help our client secure a quality tenant that would bring this recently acquired asset to full occupancy.”
Located near Interstate 287 and route 4 and 208, 500 West Main St. offers quick access to the George Washington Bridge and the greater New York metro market, NAI Hanson said. The building has 21-foot clear ceiling heights, ample parking and loading capabilities.
