A glass installer is relocating to South Hackensack after buying a 4,400-square-foot industrial building in the township, according to brokers with NAI James E. Hanson.
The firm, Premier Group Holdings, purchased the property at 11 Leuning St. from Larjil Realty Holding Corp. Its new home provides a location some 10 miles from New York City, NAI Hanson said, offering a flexible layout with 800 square feet of office space, one tailgate and 20-foot ceiling heights.
Terms were not disclosed.
“Despite the effects on the economy due to COVID-19, we are still seeing strong demand for industrial space in the South Hackensack market,” said NAI Hanson’s Justin Allessio, who represented both parties. “Maintaining relationships as well as being aware of market trends have always been two critical factors in our approach to client representation, but in the midst of the pandemic they have become even more crucial in ensuring we can help our clients find fair market value for their assets in a crowded market.”
Allessio noted that Premier Group, a fast-growing commercial glass installation contractor, was searching for a property to better fit its ongoing needs. The firm is relocating from Saddle Brook, following a negotiation that began in late summer 2019 and was pushed to the finish line by the pandemic.
Located just north of Interstate 80, 11 Leuning provides easy access to Route 46, the New Jersey Turnpike and George Washington Bridge. The property is also less than 20 miles from both Port Newark-Elizabeth and Newark Liberty International Airport.
