A new gym is coming to downtown Jersey City after leasing 5,000 square feet at the base of a luxury condominium building, under a deal arranged by Grid Real Estate.
In a news release, the brokerage firm said SNAP Fitness will offer high-end fitness equipment, personalized training and 24/7 access at its new location at 139 Brunswick St. The facility is slated to open later this year, with amenities that will also include private showers, a sauna, lockers and workout accessories available for purchase.
Grid represented ownership at the 26-unit condo building, which is a short walk from the restaurant district on Newark Avenue and destinations such as Hamilton Park and Van Vorst Park, the firm said. It’s also adjacent to downtown Jersey City’s largest middle school and the concert venue known as White Eagle Hall.
“We are thrilled to bring SNAP Fitness to downtown Jersey City,” Grid Real Estate’s Bobby Antonicello said. “This is a fantastic location with hundreds of new units under construction in the immediate area and very little fitness options for the residents.”
