A large grocery-anchored shopping center in East Orange has changed hands for $36 million, following a sale brokered by HFF’s New Jersey office.
The 115,893-square-foot property, known as Brick Church Plaza, is located at 535 Main St. HFF represented the seller of the 100 percent leased complex, which is anchored by ShopRite and is home to several other national and regional tenants.
Stephen Simonelli, Jose Cruz, Kevin O’Hearn, Michael Oliver, Marc Duval and Jordan Avanzato, who are based in Florham Park, handled the transaction for HFF.
The property occupies 8.21 acres and is adjacent to the Brick Church train station, which provides direct access to New York Penn Station in less than 30 minutes. Other tenants include PNC Bank, Dunkin Donuts, GameStop and H&R Block.
