A remodeling and custom home building firm has leased more than 1,600 square feet of office space in New Providence, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
The tenant, Hoffman Design Builds Inc., will use the space at 1811 Springfield Ave. as its new headquarters and showroom for existing and prospective customers to view and select materials, according to a news release. NAI Hanson’s Andrew Kirshenbaum represented both parties in the 1,627-square-foot deal, citing the building’s location next to the user’s existing clientele.
“Businesses are constantly looking for ways to better access their target audience,” Kirshenbaum said. “In this case, the tenant felt it was best to physically move closer to their clientele and plant their roots in one of Union County’s many upscale neighborhoods. The lack of office inventory within this area represented an advantageous situation for the landlord, but the space fit all of the tenant’s needs and we’re proud to have successfully advised both parties in securing a lease that accomplished the goals of all who were involved.”
Owned by See Clear Associates LLC, 1811 Springfield Ave. spans 8,054 square feet with recent exterior renovations, the news release said. NAI Hanson noted that the property is less than five minutes from New Providence’s downtown and minutes from Route 22 and Interstate 78.
Kirshenbaum represented See Clear Associates in its acquisition of the property in 2019.
