A cosmetics industry supplier has signed two renewals in South Plainfield, where it occupies more than 100,000 square feet at adjacent buildings, brokers with JLL announced Wednesday.
The tenant, Arcade Beauty, leases 52,370 and 56,000 square feet at 500 and 550 Hadley Road, respectively. With the newly completed renewals, the company will continue to use 500 Hadley Road for warehouse and distribution space, while 550 will continue to house its manufacturing, research and development and office space.
JLL managing directors Scott Lesh, Andrew Zezas and Chad Hillyer, along with Senior Vice President John Buckley and Vice President Tyler Baker, represented Arcade Beauty. The respective landlords, RMD Realty Associates and Alfieri Property Management, were represented in-house.
“Arcade Beauty’s continued commitment to New Jersey demonstrates the appeal of the state’s businesses environment and geographic location,” Lesh said. “This deal benefits all parties and ensures operational continuity for the client.”
Headquartered in New York City, Arcade Beauty is a global company that develops, markets, sells and produces multisensory and interactive sampling and discovery solutions, JLL said. The firm also deals in specialized packaging, primarily for fragrance, beauty and personal care segments.
“We were pleased to successfully structure a multiparty deal that supports the business model of this unique space occupier,” Zezas said. “Despite the current turmoil, we completed a transaction that maximizes efficiencies for the tenant.”
