A fast-growing network of infusion clinics is expanding in New Jersey with six newly signed retail leases throughout the state, in a series of deals arranged by JLL.
Brokers with the firm represented the operator, IVX Health, in the transactions in Paramus, Clifton, Edgewater, New Providence, Mount Laurel and Cherry Hill. They noted that each location is within an established retail center, keeping with the company’s strategy of expansion in communities where patients live and work.
Private equity-backed IVX provides infusion and injection therapy for patients across the country with complex chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease, among others, according to a news release. JLL Vice President Sarah Savage represents the company in managing the national rollout of its clinics, with Managing Director David Townes and Vice President Alana Friedman assisting her in the New Jersey region.
“We seek locations where our patients can conveniently schedule their care appointments to easily fit into their existing lifestyles,” said Bryan Padilla, director of facilities with IVX Health. “We are thrilled to continue expanding across the Northeast by opening new infusion centers in New Jersey, where we’re committed to delivering world-class care and clinical excellence to both patients and referring specialty providers.”
The new leases include:
- 2,247 square feet at Clifton Town Square at 700 Route 3 in Clifton, with Bill Farkas of Jeffery Realty representing the landlord
- 2,756 square feet at 501 Route 17 in Paramus, with Greg Panayoti of NIA National Realty representing the landlord
- 1,873 square feet at East Gate Square Shopping Center on East Gate Drive in Mount Laurel, with Andrew Shpigel and Michael Gorman of Metro Commercial representing the landlord
- 3,000 square feet at Park East Plaza at 818 Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill, with JLL representing both parties
- 2,374 square feet at Edgewater Marketplace at 725 River Road in Edgewater, with RIPCO Real Estate representing the landlord, Capstone Marketplace LLC
- 1,825 square feet at South Pass Village at 1727 Springfield Ave. in New Providence, under a deal with Regency Centers
- JLL added that IVX plans to open several more infusion centers in New Jersey over the next 12 months.
“After rising demand for modern medical space and a shortage of large block availabilities forced many health care providers to embrace previously unconventional space like shopping centers, these locations have now become a favored choice,” Townes said. “We are pleased to have identified multiple highly visible retail locations where IVX Health will be able to provide patients with easily accessible services in comfortable, modern settings with ample parking.”
