A maker of kitchen and bathroom fixtures has leased more than 110,000 square feet across two buildings in Piscataway, under a set of newly announced transactions by JLL.
The deals by LIXIL Corp., the parent company of brands such as American Standard, GROHE and DXV, include a new, long-term commitment for 60,270 square feet at 30 Knightsbridge Road. The company is leasing the space from Keystone Property Group and will occupy the entire second floor of the 280,000-square-foot building, which sits between Centennial Avenue and Route 18.
JLL Senior Managing Director Scott Lesh and senior vice presidents Scott Stange and Brian Davison represented LIXIL. CBRE Senior Vice President Jon Meisel represented ownership.
“With a fresh perspective on how to help employees achieve their full potential, we worked closely with the LIXIL team to ensure we could deliver on a new office space that fits all of their needs,” Lesh said. “We’re pleased we found the perfect spot to foster collaboration and productivity for the optimal work experience.”
The JLL team also represented LIXIL in a renewal at 865 Centennial Ave., where it occupies 53,226 square feet of office, research and development and showroom space under a lease with Onyx Equities. Jonathan Schultz, a principal with Onyx, and Jonathan Davis, a senior vice president with the firm, represented ownership in the single-story flex building.
