Kushner Real Estate Group has all but completed a new 38-story apartment tower in downtown Jersey City, adding another 507 units to its fast-growing portfolio in Hudson County.
Located at 351 Marin Blvd., the luxury residential building is a block from the Grove Street PATH station and will open alongside a landscaped, 4,500-square-foot plaza and freestanding pavilion. The developer and its joint venture partner, Northwestern Mutual, are now preparing to welcome tenants by Dec. 1 after announcing the launch of leasing on Thursday.
“We’re excited to introduce 351 Marin to the public in a prime location in Jersey City just steps from the Grove Street PATH station and surrounded by dining, culture and nightlife,” said Jonathan Kushner, president of KRE Group. “Our residents will be able to easily explore all that the city’s local fabric has to offer while also enjoying an elevated lifestyle at home enriched by a robust amenity offering.”
The partnership has tapped The Marketing Directors to spearhead leasing at 351 Marin, which sits within Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District. Hollwich Kushner and HLW Architects designed the property, which features a distinctive angled base alongside the landscaped plaza, plus amenities such as a 37th-floor lounge with co-working spaces, banquette seating and an outdoor, landscaped patio with a tiered theater and views of the Manhattan and Jersey City skylines.
Rents at the collection of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes start from $2,650, with grand opening incentives, KRE said.
“The open layouts provide plenty of space for a perfect live-work balance,” said Jaqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors. “Some one-bedroom floorplans offer a bonus den that can also be utilized as a home office.”
Other amenities at 351 Marin include a 24-hour fitness center, an entertainment kitchen, a movie and screening area, a game room and a children’s playroom, according to a news release. Outdoors, the landscaped terrace features a pool deck with lounge seating, fire pits and grilling stations with prep counters.
KRE added that the building’s street-level retail space will include a café,
