Larken Associates has inked two new leases for a combined 3,000 square feet at a sprawling industrial and flex campus along Route 206 in Hillsborough.
The real estate firm on Thursday announced the new leases with Caputron and Metamorpheus Design Services, which are each taking 1,500 square feet. They are among the newest tenants at Hillsborough Business Center, a 27-building, 550,000-square-foot complex on Stryker Lane.
Caputron is a New York City-based distributor of clinical and research neurostimulation technology, according to a news release. The firm, which partners with device manufacturers and provides customer support to clients, will utilize its space at the campus to enhance its current warehousing, distribution and fabrication capabilities in the market.
For its part, Metamorpheus Design Services is a home staging, design and organizing firm led by industry veterans Marne Coetzer and Sharon du Plessis. Its lease at the Hillsborough Business Center will provide the company with additional storage and office space to augment its existing Chatham headquarters.
“While they were in high demand over the last several years, industrial flex properties in suburban markets like the Hillsborough Business Center have continued to see strong demand throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “Prized for their adaptability and ease of access, these types of properties are well-positioned to continue to attract tenants from a wide range of industries — even as we face a period of considerable economic instability.”
Spanning 100 acres, the complex is a block east of Route 206 and accessible from routes 1, 22 and 206 and other area highways. Larken markets the property to users of research and development, lab, warehousing, distribution, light manufacturing and assembly space, along with fitness and recreation operators.
