The builder of a new luxury apartment complex in Bogota has launched leasing at the property’s first phase, unveiling more than 300 homes and a host of upscale amenities.
PCD Development, the firm behind what’s known as The Atwater, is seeking to draw renters with a location along the Hackensack River and the allure of never-lived-in homes. The developer and its leasing agent, The Marketing Directors, say they have already fielded inquiries for the complex at 100 West Fort Lee Road.
“With a waterfront location offering views of the Hackensack River, proximity to New York City and easy access to the area’s local dining, shopping and entertainment scene, The Atwater will appeal to those looking for a suburban style of living coupled with a sophisticated, amenity-rich lifestyle,” said Jonathan Stein, PCD’s founder and managing member. “We’ve already had high interest from local residents seeking a new level of Bergen County luxury, as well as those moving from the congested Hudson River waterfront and New York City. We’re excited to now officially unveil The Atwater’s contemporary lifestyle.”
In a news release, PCD said opening monthly rents start from $2,020, with grand opening incentives that include one month free. The property is made up of four- and five-story buildings with more than 30,000 square feet of amenity space and features such as a clubroom, a resident lounge, a fitness center and an indoor and outdoor business center with co-working spaces.
The developer also pointed to steps it has taken to address the need for cleanliness and social distancing. The indoor amenity areas include air handlers with ultraviolet sanitizers, while the business center has Steelcase Brody “pods” with protective screening for each person.
“Renters who want additional peace of mind and an added level of safety will also appreciate that these homes are brand new and have never been lived in before,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors.
Apartments will feature high-end interiors, appliances and fixtures, the news release said. Each unit will have a balcony or patio, with some homes offering river views. Outdoors, residents have access to a heated pool and sun deck, grills, an outdoor theater and a walkway along the Hackensack River, among other offerings.
Upon full completion, the 421-unit community will also include retail services, on-site parking, indoor bike storage, a dog wash station and a public dog park.
PCD also touted the site’s proximity to restaurants and bars, retailers and local services. The property is a 10-minute drive of Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus Park Mall and The Shops at Riverside, with quick access to Interstate 80, the George Washington Bridge and other highways.
