Larken Associates has signed a new tenant at a Springfield shopping center, inking a 2,750-square-foot lease with a local auto body business.
The tenant, L & J Peotter Enterprise LLC, is expanding its business with the new space at the Echo Plaza Shopping Center at 901 Mountain Ave. The business currently operates a collision repair facility in nearby Summit and will use the new storefront to sell auto detailing supplies and conduct educational programming about car care.
“Through a careful acquisition and development process paired with the gold standard in property management, our retail spaces are highly sought after for their mix of location, visibility and flexibility to meet the needs of today’s retail businesses,” said Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “We welcome Peotter’s auto detailing supply store to Echo Plaza and look forward to their presence enhancing the wide variety of exciting retail options found at this one-of-a-kind property.”
Located along Route 22 and Mountain Avenue, Echo Plaza spans 66,567 square feet with a mix of retailers. The center also includes Larken Associates’ Echo Executive Plaza, a 41,000-square-foot office building that is home to financial, insurance, medical and professional services companies.
Peotter’s Auto Body’s has been in business for more than 30 years, operating from a three-floor facility on Broad Street in Summit. Its team of technicians and customer service professionals provide the repair services to Tesla, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volvo vehicles.
“We are seeking to elevate the auto detailing experience by not just selling supplies but providing our customers with unique educational and socialization opportunities around car care,” said Larry Peotter, owner of Peotter’s Auto Body. “Echo Plaza’s combination of visibility, accessibility and adaptability made it the ideal location for us to bring this vision to life and we thank the Larken team for their help in making it a reality.”
