An Asian restaurant is the latest addition to a Somerset County shopping center after inking a 4,000-square-foot lease at the property, Levin Management Corp. said Tuesday.
The tenant, Morals Village Hot Pot, joins a host of national and regional retailers at Rutgers Plaza in Franklin Township, Levin Management said in a news release. The restaurant concept offers a hands-on, interactive dining experience in which patrons dip raw ingredients into a hot pot of simmering broth at the center of each table.
Levin Management is exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 266,000-square-foot center, which is anchored by a 74,000-square-foot Stop & Shop and newly opened, 29,000-square-foot Crunch Fitness location.
“Rutgers Plaza has consistently attracted a strong, diversified tenant base, and our newest addition — Morals Village Hot Pot — is no exception,” LMC Leasing Representative Jordan Korris, who negotiated the long-term lease, said in a prepared statement. “This unique shared dining experience represents an exciting new amenity for the center and a fresh new dining concept for local restaurant-goers.
“We are confident that Morals Village Hot Pot will broaden Rutgers Plaza’s appeal.”
