Levin Management Corp. has assumed the role of managing agent for a 108,000-square-foot, seven-story office building in Fort Lee.
Based in North Plainfield, the real estate services firm is expanding its foothold in Bergen County with the new assignment at 222 Bridge Plaza South, according to Joseph Lowry, senior vice president of acquisitions and business development. LMC will maintain the multitenant building, while Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty will handle leasing.
“LMC is widely regarded for its long history of delivering third-party real estate services to retail property owners,” Lowry said. “Yet our portfolio also includes approximately 1.65 million square feet of industrial and office assets — sectors for which we are seeing increased demand.”
In a news release, LMC said 222 Bridge Plaza South is located within the heart of a mixed-use neighborhood. The office property, home to fashion company Southpole, is minutes from Manhattan and accessible via thoroughfares such as interstates 80 and 95, routes 1 and 46, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
“The assignment is particularly rewarding because it represents our first project for this private owner entity, which plans to house its headquarters on site,” Lowry added. “We intend to apply our proven management standards to all aspects of the building’s operation and to support 222 Bridge Plaza South’s long-term success. We also look forward to working with Prominent Properties on this project.”
