A logistics company has leased nearly 114,000 square feet at a newly developed industrial building in North Bergen, brokers with Team Resources Inc. announced Wednesday.
Brokers with the firm represented the landlord in the deal at 5905 Westside Ave., where Western Carriers is taking 113,623 square feet. The building provides the tenant, which serves the wine and spirits industry, with a modern space that has 16 loading docks, 36-foot clear ceiling heights and two acres of parking.
Team Resources President Greg Sholom and CEO David Cantor completed the ownership assignment, while Stephen Elman of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.
“Western Carriers already has a significant presence in the area, so this brand new state-of-the-art facility was a natural,” Sholom said.
Team Resources announced two other deals on Wednesday, including a 24,000-square-foot sublease at 99 Murray Hill Parkway in East Rutherford to Disposable Hygiene LLC. Cantor and Sholom represented the sublandlord, while Randy Eigen of CBRE represented the tenant, a manufacturer of personal care products.
“The unit provides Anthem with additional warehouse space for their product line,” Cantor said.
The brokers also finalized a lease of 50,377 square feet to Valley Hospital at 18-01 Pollitt Drive in Fair Lawn. They represented the landlord, while Robert Rudin of Cushman & Wakefield was the tenant representative.
“Valley will be utilizing this space in connection with their major construction and their expansion nearby,” Sholom said.
