A private entity has sold a nearly 34,000-square-foot highway shopping center in Monmouth County, under a newly completed transaction by Marcus & Millichap.
According to the brokerage team, the property at 1008-1016 Route 34 changed hands for $6.825 million. An undisclosed LLC sold the 33,719-square-foot complex, known as The Shoppes at Matawan.
“The shopping center had a variety of local restaurants and service-oriented businesses and had recently been renovated in 2019,” said Marcus & Millichap’s Alan Cafiero, who represented the seller alongside Brent Hyldahl and Ben Sgambati of the firm’s New Jersey office.
