A new 99-unit luxury apartment building in Jersey City has started to welcome its first residents.
Golden Glades Capital Management, the owner of the building at 74 Maple St., and its leasing team announced Tuesday that the property is attracting renters from both sides of the Hudson. The milestone comes two months after the launch of leasing at what’s known as BeLa, which is offering both 3D virtual tours and appointment-only in-person presentations.
“We’re excited to welcome our first residents to BeLa,” said Carole Bloom, executive vice president of leasing for Halstead NJ Development Marketing LLC. “The boutique, eight-story building features just 99 residences with stylish living spaces and smartly designed amenities that complement its charming and commuter-friendly neighborhood.
“We’re also appealing to renters who are now placing more value on being the first ones to live in an apartment, as well as reside in an area with less density and more open space. BeLa offers just that.”
Apartments are priced from $1,996 for one-bedrooms and $2,560 for two-bedrooms, according to a news release. Halstead is offering a promotion of up to three free months in incentives for tenants who sign leases quickly.
Located in Jersey City’s historic Bergen-Lafayette section, BeLa is about a block from Liberty State Park and minutes from the city’s downtown and Hoboken. The eight-story complex is also blocks from Communipaw Avenue, the area’s business corridor, which offers many locally known bars, eateries and shops.
Amenities at the property, which was designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, include a fitness center, yoga studio, grilling stations, outdoor lounge, club room and furnished suites for guests. BeLa also offers on-site parking and bike storage via its first-floor garage and about 2,600 square feet of ground-level retail.
