PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
MSW has recently represented the following:
- Borrower in connection with deed-in-lieu transfer of 600,000-square-foot office complex in downtown Denver, Colorado, in connection with $110 million loan.
- Seller in connection with $135 million sale of industrial portfolio in northern New Jersey.
- National bank in connection with modification of $125 million revolving credit facility.
- Developer in connection with a $114 million tax credit award under the Aspire Tax Credit Program for a multi-phased mixed-use development in central New Jersey.
- National cannabis company on $100 million+ term financing secured by business and real estate assets across multiple states.
- Borrower in connection with loan modification of $88 million loan and deed-in-lieu transaction for office building in San Francisco, California.
- Borrower in connection with the defeasance of a $30.3 million loan and new CMBS financing in the amount of $86 million encumbering multiple multi-housing family projects located in Essex County, New Jersey.
- Developer in connection with $74 million Aspire tax credit for multifamily project in Newark, New Jersey.
ON THE HORIZON
While 2024 was a complicated and uncertain year for many in our industry, MSW maintained continued growth, helping our clients close more than $1 billion in commercial real estate and financing transactions throughout the country, secured major litigation victories on behalf of our clients, obtained land use approvals for multifamily, commercial and retail projects and negotiated over $400 million in Aspire Tax Credits for transformative real estate development projects throughout the state. The firm also invested heavily in building our Construction Law and Litigation practice groups, which grew significantly over the past 12 months. We believe that 2025 will be a banner year for our team and we look forward to being a part of our clients’ continued success.
