A cabinet maker has acquired a 41,700-square-foot industrial building in Piscataway, in a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
Brokers with the firm on Monday said they represented Cavalli Cabinets LLC in its purchase of 727 South Ave., which sits less than 10 minutes from Interstate 287. Deals for Less LLC sold the property for an undisclosed price.
NAI Hanson’s Eric Demmers and Russell Verducci spearheaded the transaction.
“Deals like 727 South Avenue continue to reaffirm that the I-287 corridor is gaining significant interest from companies searching for favorable distribution opportunities amid a consistently competitive industrial market,” Demmers said. “Our significant industrial asset class experience allowed us to work closely with Cavalli Cabinets to secure a suitable property that will serve as a long-term home for their business and position them well for growth.”
Cavalli Cabinets plans to use the space for kitchen cabinet manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, NAI Hanson said, touting its size and location near major thoroughfares. Featuring 2,500 square feet of office space, 14-foot ceiling heights, five loading platforms and one drive-in, 727 South Ave. is also within a 40-mile radius of Newark Liberty International Airport.
