An executive with Sitex Group has earned a promotion, thanks in part to his effort to help grow the firm’s investment platform to new markets.
The developer and investment firm, which is based in Englewood, announced that it has promoted Zach McHugh from vice president to senior vice president. Since joining Sitex, he has helped launch its New York City investment platform and sourced investments valued at more than $400 million.
“Zach has proven himself to be an integral part of our organization — a key player who has contributed significantly to our strategic growth and success since joining the firm in 2016,” Sitex Principal David Friedman said. “It’s an exciting time for industrial real estate and we will continue to look to him to drive growth for the firm.”
McHugh has closed on acquisitions in Long Island City, Maspeth and Brooklyn, including the Red Hook Industrial Center, Sitex said in a news release. He will continue to expand the firm’s portfolio in the outer boroughs, as it looks to remain an active buyer in the market.
Prior to Sitex, McHugh was an analyst with KTR Capital Partners, where he focused on industrial investments. He is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.
