An e-commerce distribution firm has leased nearly 18,000 square feet at a Secaucus industrial building, according to brokers with NAI James E. Hanson who arranged the transaction.
In a news release, NAI Hanson said it represented the tenant, K&C Warehousing LLC, in the deal at 300 Castle Road. The firm identified the owner as MRH Real Estate Services LLC.
K&C’s new home is a 61,000-square-foot, two-story industrial building less than a mile from the New Jersey Turnpike in the heart of Secaucus’ industrial zone, the news release said. The firm will lease 17,900 square feet at the property to relocate its e-commerce distribution and warehousing business from Jersey City.
NAI Hanson’s Russell Verducci and Eric Demmers handled the assignment.
“Secaucus provides excellent logistical access and a strong labor pool making it an enticing location for warehousing and distribution tenants like K&C Warehousing,” Verducci said. “As real estate prices increase along the New Jersey Gold Coast, companies will continue to look for more affordable yet well-located industrial buildings for a wide variety of applications.
“K&C Warehousing’s new location at Castle Road will allow them to continue to grow their distribution capabilities and expand their e-commerce business from a well-positioned building.”
The space offers 24-foot ceilings and two loading docks, as well as close proximity to the Lincoln and Holland tunnels and the Secaucus train station.
