NAI Mertz has hired a new marketing assistant, with a focus that will include expanding the firm’s public relations efforts and presence on social media.

The commercial real estate services firm, which is based in Mount Laurel, said Savannah Walls will carry out those duties alongside its team of marketing professionals. She is a recent graduate of Cabrini University in Randor, Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor’s in marketing.
“Savannah has proven to be a tremendous asset in just a short time since joining our team, and we are glad to have her on board as we continue to develop our business through focused marketing and public relations efforts, and social media marketing campaigns,” said Bobbi Jean Formosa, an executive vice president and managing director with Mertz. “She comes with great recommendations from her professors and peers as a person who will get the work done, so we genuinely look forward to her contributions to our team.”
Walls will work alongside Formosa and Patrick Sweeney, the firm’s marketing director. Her responsibilities include growing the company’s presence on all major social media platforms, as well as coordinating press releases, creating property flyers and email marketing.
Walls also graduated from Cabrini University with a minor in graphic design, according to a news release. She has held internships at a luxury travel agency in Wayne, Pennsylvania, as well as Cabrini, where she gained experience managing accounts and writing blogs.
Through her internships, she used her graphic design experience to create social media posts and event marketing materials. She also worked as a freelance designer creating logos for restaurants, cafes, social media influencers and small startups within the greater Philadelphia area.
