A dance studio has signed a new lease and an industrial building has changed hands, both in Kenilworth, under a set of deals arranged by NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co.
In the retail deal, Planet Dance is taking 3,000 square feet at 600 Boulevard as it relocates to a new location, according to a news release. NAIDB Associate Vice President Kelly Bayer represented ownership at the neighborhood retail center, noting that the family-owned, 21-year-old studio joins a property with ample on-site parking, excellent visibility and two garage-style windows that open to offer maximum air flow.
Nearby services include Kenilworth Diner, Acme, PNC Bank, Dunkin and Wells Fargo Bank.
“Kenilworth’s access to major road networks has attracted a wide range of local, regional and national industries, all of whom draw from the area’s highly skilled workforce and make it a desired location for retail and industrial tenants,” said David Simon, NAIDB’s chief operating officer.
Two miles to the east, NAIDB Vice President Richard Goski and Associate Vice President Catherine Goski-Vasquez represented Alloy Cast Products in its $3.4 million sale of 700 Swenson Drive. Sheet Metal Works Local Union 22 acquired the 12,607-square-foot manufacturing building, which sits on about an acre, as the brokers noted that the offering garnered more than 300 inquiries due to its location in the Greater Port industrial market.
In both deals, users benefit from Kenilworth’s connectivity to neighboring towns and local access to mass transit, NAIDB said.
