A private investor has purchased a nearly 3,500-square-foot bank property in Monmouth County, under a newly announced transaction by Marcus & Millichap.
The investment sales firm represented both parties in the sale of 1147 Route 34 in Aberdeen, a 3,378-square-foot building that is net leased to Amboy Bank. The property sold for $2.15 million.
Marcus & Millichap Investment Specialist Jason Petrick brokered the transaction. He noted that the Amboy Bank sits as an out parcel to a grocery-anchored center, which generated several offers from the tristate region.
Ultimately, the purchaser was an out-of-state buyer that paid all cash as part of a 1031 exchange.
