Two law firms have extended their leases in Essex County’s western suburbs, under a set of newly announced transactions by Newmark.
In the larger deal, Lum, Drasco & Positano LLC signed a long-term extension for its 16,308-square-foot office space at 103 Eisenhower Parkway in Roseland. Newmark’s David Simson represented the tenant at the building, part of a 610,000-square-foot portfolio just north of Interstate 280.
Simson also represented Skoloff & Wolfe PC in an extension and expansion at 293 Eisenhower Parkway in Livingston, where it occupies 15,655 square feet. Its space sits within an 80,000-square-foot building owned by Eastman Cos.
“At Newmark, we don’t just adopt to what our partners need — we adopt to what the future demands,” said Simson, a Newmark vice chairman and its chief operating officer in New Jersey. “Our integrated platform delivers seamlessly connected services tailored to every type of client, from owners to occupiers, investors to founders and growing startups to leading companies.”
For Simson, the deals are the latest in a long history of leases involving law firms. He has also represented firms such as McCarter & English LLP and Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla PC in recent transactions, along with Cole Schotz PC and Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
In addition, Simson represented Callagy Law this year for its 18,000-square-foot expansion and relocation in Paramus.
