A well-known, 40,000-square-foot building in Paramus is now fully leased after a series of recent office and retail transactions, executives with NIA National Realty announced.
According to NIA, which owns the building at 66 Route 17, the leases include:
- 5,000 square feet by a high-end rug company specializing in elegant, handmade area rugs;
- 12,500 square feet by Lois Law Firm
- 1,500 square feet by Primerica
- Extensions by Shift New Jersey and Forman Holt
NIA Vice President Gregory Panayoti served as broker in the dal with the rug company, which plans to open its ground-floor space in June. The new space will provide it with a location at the busy intersection of routes 4 and 17 that stands out for its architectural style.
The entire building recently underwent a $1 million that included a new façade, new windows on the retail portion of the building and design upgrades throughout, NIA said.
“We are very pleased with the signing of these retail/office tenants to long term lease commitments,” said Roger Gross, NIA National Realty president. “It further confirms that 66 Route 17 North in Paramus is an attractive and highly desirable location for retail and office tenants.”
