LeFrak has unveiled what it says is the most expensive apartment listing in Jersey City history.
The 2,300-square-foot penthouse, located in the new 41-story luxury rental tower known as The Ellipse, hit the market last week asking $10,995 a month. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom space is one of five penthouses in the building, offering sweeping views of Manhattan and the Hudson waterfront.
The Ellipse is among the newest additions to LeFrak’s iconic Newport development in Jersey City. Spanning more than 380 high-end apartments, the building features a distinct oval shape and glass façade that were designed by the internationally acclaimed firm Arquitectonica.
The other units range from studios to three-bedroom homes, LeFrak said. Apartments feature floor-to-ceiling windows and high-end finishes and appliances, while the building has amenities such as a co-working space, lounge and fitness spaces and an outdoor pool and terrace.
The other penthouses at The Ellipse include another four-bedroom and three three-bedrooms, which were also released last week, LeFrak said. Leasing for the building launched in April.
