A pain management practice is expanding with its purchase of a 2,610-square-foot medical office space in Hackensack, following a deal arranged by NAI James E. Hanson.
In a news release, brokers with the firm announced the sale of 160 Overlook Ave., Suite 1A, to Genesis Pain Management. The space is on the ground floor of a 25-story, 153,045-square-foot residential building just two blocks from Hackensack University Medical Center.
Terms were not disclosed.
NAI Hanson’s Randy Horning and Darren Lizzack represented the seller, R.A.F. Realty of Hackensack LLC. They said the outgoing owner was looking for a smaller space in Hackensack and decided that the time was right to sell.
Meantime, Genesis Pain Management had been leasing in Teaneck and was looking to purchase a space to enable it to serve more patients in a convenient location, according to a news release. Its new home offers quick access to routes 4, 17 and 46 and Interstate 80.
“Real estate is often one of the major headaches that medical users must deal with over the course of a year,” Horning said in a prepared statement. “Many doctors are forced to take time out of their busy days to deal with managing their practices’ real estate needs.
“Working with a knowledgeable and highly experienced real estate team allows doctors to remove much of the stress that stems from their practices’ real estate needs and instead focus on continuing to deliver the gold-standard in patient care.”
