Onyx Equities has kicked off its multimillion-dollar renovation of two Parsippany office buildings, as it markets the assets alongside leasing agents with Cushman & Wakefield.
The three-story buildings, located at 4 and 6 Campus Drive, span 147,475 square feet and 148,291 square feet, respectively, offering a location just west of Interstate 287. Onyx’s plans call for renovating the lobbies and building exteriors, along with expanded amenities such as a modern conference center, a new cafeteria and a significantly upgrade to the outdoor space for both eating and working.
“We are strong believers in the power of investing in suburban office properties,” said Adam Karafiol, senior vice president of leasing at Onyx Equities. “We are thrilled to have started our capital improvements at 4 and 6 Campus Drive and are excited to welcome tenants back to the workplace of the future.”
C&W’s David DeMatteis, Mark Zaziski, Ben Brenner, Kelsey Nakamura and Raymond Trevisan make up the leasing team at the properties, which Onyx acquired last year from Mack-Cali Realty Corp., while Ware Malcomb is the interior architect for the renovations. They are part of an office park known as The Arbors @ Parsippany, which allows tenants to use amenities throughout the campus.
“Onyx Equities has a strong reputation for investing in properties upfront to improve the tenant experience,” DeMatteis said. “We are ecstatic to continue our longstanding relationship with Onyx and are confident that these renovations will be highly regarded and greatly appreciated by tenants.”
The buildings are located just off routes 10 and 202, while providing quick access to Interstate 80 and a host of nearby dining, retail and hospitality options.
