Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has signed a new lease in Norwood that will allow a tenant to expand to an adjacent building and add more than 52,000 square feet to its existing footprint.
The business, Orthofeet Inc., already occupies 71,870 square feet at a multitenant industrial property at 335 Chestnut St., according to a news release. It’s now taking 52,108 square feet under a full-building lease at 10 Maple St., part of a Sanzari-owned portfolio just off Broadway and minutes from the Palisades Interstate Parkway, providing additional warehouse and administrative office space to accommodate its growth.
Stephen Jennings represented ownership in-house. Resource Realty Vice President Dan Whitehead represented Orthofeet, a 40-year-old manufacturer of high-quality, biomechanically engineered therapeutic shoes, heat-moldable inserts, accommodative custom inserts and more.
“With the success our company has seen over the past several years, we recognized the need for additional space to support our day-to-day operations,” said Joe Casagrande, CEO of Orthofeet Inc. “Our added space will allow us to continue to provide our growing customer base with top-quality products designed to lead them to a life free of pain.”
In announcing the deal, the landlord noted that 10 Maple St. is a single-story industrial-flex building with three tailgate loading docks, heating, air conditioning and sprinkler systems. Users are a short drive from the Palisades Interstate Parkway and New York Thruway, with accessibility to the Garden State Parkway, Interstate 287, the George Washington Bridge and the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.
“Our hands-on approach to property management and long-term ownership strategy has allowed us to build lasting relationships with our tenants, as we’ve done with Orthofeet over the last several years,” said Jennings, vice president of leasing and marketing with Sanzari. “We’re excited to continue supporting their business and we look forward to seeing their continued success in the coming years.”
