A shoe manufacturer has signed a nearly 72,000-square-foot lease renewal at a Norwood industrial building owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, the real estate firm announced.
The user, Orthofeet Inc., has been a tenant at 335 Chestnut St. since 2019 and occupies roughly two-thirds of the 111,300-square-foot property. As Sanzari noted, the site provides the maker of therapeutic shoes, heat-moldable inserts and accommodative customer inserts with easy access to highways such as the Palisades Interstate Parkway, the New York State Thruway and others, while users are within walking distance of the borough’s several dining options.
Resource Realty’s Daniel F. Whitehead represented the tenant in the 71,870-square-foot deal.
“When we moved our facilities to 335 Chestnut Street in 2019, it marked a significant moment in our company’s history,” said Michael Saccente, vice president of administration at Orthofeet Inc. “Since then, the property and Alfred Sanzari Enterprises have played a critical role in the success and growth of our business. We’re very happy to be staying in Norwood as we continue to provide orthotic solutions to help people live mobile, pain-free lives.”
Built by Sanzari in 1969, 335 Chestnut has 11 loading docks.
“Tenants in the market for office or industrial space are increasingly prioritizing properties with stable, long-term ownership,” said Stephen Jennings, Sanzari’s vice president of leasing and marketing. “Our legacy ownership and hands-on property management continue to make us well-positioned to build lasting relationships with our tenants and ensure that our spaces fit their business’s evolving needs. We’re thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Orthofeet and look forward to playing a role in their success over the coming years.”
