An office user has backfilled a former daycare center in Mahwah, under a nearly 10,000-square-foot transaction brokered by NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm on Monday announced the lease at 25 Edison Road, where Emersion Schools LLC committed to 9,831 square feet. NAI Hanson’s John J. Schilp represented both the landlord, Ronald Striegel & 325 E. 90th St. LLC, and the tenant.
“Although a former child care center, we recognized that a well-located, quality property like 25 Edison Road could lend itself to a variety of uses and would be a perfect location for Emersion Schools, LLC,” Schilp said. “Leveraging our experience in the Bergen County office market, we were able to negotiate a mutually beneficial deal on behalf of both landlord and lessee.”
Sitting on just under two acres, the building is located near Franklin Lakes and Wyckoff, with proximity to Interstate 287 and routes 208 and 17, NAI Hanson said in a news release. With parking for 50 cars and move-in ready condition, the firm said 25 Edison Road is well-suited for a range of professional uses beyond child care.
