A packaging company is tripling its footprint in the region after taking more than 63,000 square feet of industrial space in Pennsauken, according to brokers with Colliers International.
TopPop, which specializes in frozen alcoholic beverages, will occupy the space at 6901 North Crescent Blvd. under a lease with Velocity Venture Partners. The deal comes less than three months after the landlord acquired the property, Colliers said, noting that the 63,347-square-foot, freestanding warehouse has substantial office space that has been renovated to accommodate the new tenant.
Colliers’ Ian Richman and Marc Isdaner represented ownership, while Scott Mertz of NAI Mertz represented TopPop. The brokerage team added that the tenant expects to be operational by January to meet a projected jump in sales of more than $30 million and demands of close to 120 million frozen pops in 2022.
