Planet Fitness is taking more than 19,000 square feet for a new location in Weehawken, in one of several newly announced deals by Jeffery Realty.
Brokers say the chain will open the new space at Tower Plaza, a shopping center at 4100 Park Ave., under a sublease with Lidl. Jeffery’s Mike Testa and Bill Farkas represented the supermarket in the deal, while Raymond Villafana of Franchise Realty represented Planet Fitness in the 19,317-square-foot commitment.
The North Plainfield-based brokerage firm also announced that The Grove at Montgomery, a mixed-use property at 21 Belle Mead Griggstown Road and Route 206 in Montgomery, is now fully leased after two recent deals. Club Pilates and Modern Canine are leasing a combined 3,251 square feet at the 33,000-square-foot shopping center, with Jeffery’s Joe Hydro representing ownership in both deals.
In Bayville, the firm said Family Dollar committed to 10,582 square feet at Bayville Commons at 222 Route 9. Jeffery’s Alan Walker and Shane Wierks represented ownership, while Danielle Brunelli of R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC represented the tenant.
Testa also joined the firm’s Steve Battista in a transaction at Heritage Square, a shopping center at 1640 Route 22 in Watchung, where Mattress Warehouse leased 4,285 square feet. The Jeffery team represented ownership.
