The KABR Group has signed two new retail deals at a recently upgraded, 43,000-square-foot property in downtown Englewood, according to a leasing team with RIPCO Real Estate.
In the larger deal, cabinet maker Suofeiya committed to 2,120 square feet at 28-46 South Dean St. that will serve as a showroom for kitchen and baths, according to a news release. RIPCO’s Deborah Stone represented both parties, noting that the building is also KABR’s headquarters.
“We were excited to work with Suofeiya to find an optimal spot to launch its brand,” said Stone, a managing director with RIPCO. “Having previously been occupied by Modiani Kitchens, we are confident that the newly renovated building and history of a successful kitchen store will set the brand up for success. The bustling downtown of Englewood with a high population density of the residential area and local office space will provide the company with a steady flow of traffic as it continues to build its business.”
In the second deal, Laser Away leased 2,100 square feet to support its growing practice, RIPCO said. Stone represented ownership, while Michael Miller of SCG Retail represented the hair removal chain.
“Many luxury lifestyle and wellness brands have been attracted to 28-46 South Dean St. as it was recently upgraded in 2023 with an investment of over $3 million,” said Michael Goldstein, KABR’s chief operating officer. “KABR is proud to be part of the Englewood community and we welcome Laser Away and Suofeiya as our neighbors at 28-46 South Dean Street.”
