Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has opened the doors to a new 15-story, 350-room hotel in Teaneck, celebrating the latest addition to its flagship Glenpointe complex.
The developer on Thursday joined its management and project teams to unveil the upscale, dual-branded Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites. Sitting at the nexus of interstates 95 and 80, the property will cater to both business and leisure travelers with modern amenities and sweeping views of the New York City skyline just a few miles away.
“As we analyzed the demographics and hotel offerings in the northern New Jersey marketplace, particularly within Bergen County, we recognized that a perfect opportunity existed for the construction of a hotel like this,” said Ryan Sanzari, chief operating officer of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “We would like to thank the Township of Teaneck for their help in bringing this project to life as well as our construction team for creating a truly unique hotel that will provide an exciting hospitality option for every visitor to the area.”

The facility, managed by White Lodging, adds to a region that has seen limited new hotel construction coupled with growing demand in recent years. It also serves as an expansion of the Glenpointe campus — which already has a 350-room, full-service Marriott attached to a three-building office complex — to bolster its offerings to both travelers and office users.
Sanzari celebrated the addition on Thursday alongside representatives from White Lodging, M&T Bank and local officials including Teaneck Mayor Mohammed Hameeduddin. March Associates Construction Inc. served as construction manager for the project.
With the dual-branded concept, Sanzari said the hotel has enhanced and larger communal areas than what would be standard at a standalone property. Amenities include a bar area, a shared lobby, 24-hour fitness center and indoor pool, along with 1,230 square feet of shared meeting space that can accommodate up to 100 people.
The project team also touted the property’s easy access to Newark Liberty International Airport, the Meadowlands and New York City.
“For years, the Hilton brand has been synonymous with exemplary customer service delivered in exciting and unique hotels throughout the globe,” said Kimberly Gagnon, general manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites at Teaneck. “As their latest hospitality offering, the Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites at Teaneck will continue this proud tradition and offer guests the high-quality experience they have come to expect from Hilton hotels.”
The hotel includes 190 guestrooms under The Hampton Inn & Suites banner, along with 160 rooms under the Homewood Suites brand. The latter offers a combination of studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas.
