Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has teamed with JLL to lease and manage its flagship Glenpointe complex in Teaneck — the first such partnership for the developer in its 73-year history.
Sanzari announced this week that JLL will serve as its third-party management firm for the mixed-use property, which includes 650,000 square feet of office space and sits at the nexus of interstates 95 and 80. The firm touted the alliance with an eye toward Glenpointe’s continued growth in the future.
“This strategic partnership represents an impressive new chapter for Glenpointe,” said Ryan Sanzari, chief operating officer of the Hackensack-based firm. “Joining forces with JLL bolsters the all-encompassing ‘work-life’ environment at Glenpointe, which is sought after among today’s office users. Our new collaboration will benefit tenants, their employees and clients as well as the area’s residents and visitors.”
JLL’s Mary Oppel, regional operations manager, will lead property management efforts, according to a news release. Managing Director Thomas Reilly, Executive Vice President Susan Mason and Associate Vice President Colleen Maguire will oversee leasing at Glenpointe.
“We are honored to have been selected to represent the strategic direction of this pinnacle asset on behalf of Sanzari,” said Terry Harris, chief operating officer of JLL’s suburban tristate market. “JLL’s world-class management practices and sharp focus on an elevated tenant experience align perfectly with Sanzari’s commitment to the same.
“JLL’s integrated leasing and management groups are excited to work in concert with Sanzari to deliver on its objectives.”
Glenpointe, which remains under Sanzari’s direct oversight, is complemented by a host of amenities. They include a full-service bank, cafeteria, restaurant, wine bar, Starbucks and on-site management, along with the 350-room Marriott at Glenpointe and the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Spa & Fitness Center.
Sanzari is also developing a 350-room, dual-branded hotel that is slated to open this summer. The property will operate as a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton.
Glenpointe’s office buildings house a mix of local, national and international companies spanning diverse industries, Sanzari said. The campus is minutes from the George Washington Bridge and New Jersey Turnpike and includes public transportation to and from Manhattan.
“Glenpointe is a landmark property in the tristate region,” Sanzari said. “JLL’s depth of resources and diversified team, in combination with our in-house property management department, will benefit the entire complex now and in the future.”
