A commercial property on Newark’s Verona Avenue has changed hands for $750,000, in a deal brokered by Sheldon Gross Realty Vice President Eric Weston.
Located on the block between Mount Prospect Avenue and Summer Avenue, the site will continue to be used as an auto body shop. The property is outfitted with environmental safety protocols such as a spray paint booth, a vehicle frame rack and a lift.
“Newark’s a busy, thriving community, with a lot of motorists,” Weston said. “There’s opportunity for all types of businesses focused on maintaining cars, including body repairs. This transaction is one of those that’s a win not only for the buyer and seller, but for the local community as well.”
The location is near Route 21 and Interstate 280 and in proximity to several bridges across the Passaic River.
