A well-known candy and fruit snack manufacturer has leased more than 300,000 square feet of industrial space in Somerset County, in a newly announced deal by Sheldon Gross Realty.
The brokerage firm said PIM Brands, a unit of New Jersey-based Promotion In Motion Inc., has signed a long-term commitment at 101 Randolph Road in the Somerset section of Franklin. The deal with Bridge Development Partners is an expansion of the snack maker’s footprint in the area, Sheldon Gross said, noting that it will use the new building for warehousing and distribution in tandem with a nearby 250,000-square-foot production plant.
Sheldon Gross Executive Vice President Bob Nathin worked on the transaction with Chuck Fern of Cushman & Wakefield, while JLL represented ownership in the 308,500-square-foot deal.
“I’ve worked with Promotion In Motion on multiple transactions,” Nathin said. “This building addresses the company’s growing needs related to warehousing and product distribution. With its primary manufacturing location literally around the corner, 101 Randolph Road is an ideal location.”
