Advance Realty Investors has welcomed a Mexican fast casual eatery as the latest tenant at a new 108,400-square-foot retail center in Paramus.
The developer announced Tuesday that Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen has opened its doors at Paramus Crossroads, which is located on Route 17 South, just north of the Garden State Parkway. The New Jersey-based chain occupies 1,821 square feet alongside other food-service tenants such as Urban Bricks Pizza, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Mamoun’s Falafel.
“Paramus Crossroads’ continued success, in spite of the various ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19, serves as an incredible testament to the resilience and magnetism created by a truly dynamic retail center,” Advance Realty’s Peter J. Cocoziello said. “Today we celebrate Tacoria officially opening its doors and adding to the amazing mix of retailers that make the property one of the premier shopping destinations in Bergen County.”
The Paramus store follows other Tacoria locations in New Brunswick, Jersey City, Montclair, Morristown and Princeton.
“We’re incredibly excited to be a part of Paramus Crossroads and open doors on our first location in Bergen County and sixth location in New Jersey,” said Chuck Patel, a co-founder of the chain. “We’re thrilled to be in one of the most highly trafficked and desirable markets in the state and anticipate our Paramus location will undoubtedly thrive as one of Paramus Crossroads’ most popular dining options.”
Touting the site as Paramus’ first new retail development in more than a decade, Advance noted that the property is also home to Trinity Rehab and TREK Bikes. PGA Tour Superstore and P.C. Richard & Son anchor the complex, which has welcomed several tenants over the past year.
Newmark managing directors Dean Tselepis and Jeff Kolodkin serve as the center’s leasing team and are marketing 19,500 feet of remaining anchor retail space, along with 5,700 square feet in the development’s northernmost building. The property also has 7,000 square feet of second-floor office space available.
