Walters is set to deliver the first piece of a three-building, income-restricted apartment complex in the Marlton section of Evesham, with full delivery slated for early spring.
The developer this week said the initial 24-unit building, located at 4 Executive Drive, is scheduled for completion this month. It will mark the start of what’s known as Cornerstone at Marlton, boasting a location along Route 73 and minutes from other area highways.
Full completion of the project is slated for April, Walters said.
“This is a sustainably designed community, offering families a safe, affordable, high-quality lifestyle,” said Joseph Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing with the firm. “Residents also benefit from an array of modern amenities and convenient services.”
In a news release, the Barnegat-based developer said the project will fill a need for income-restricted housing in Evesham Township, offering a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. Walters is also building Cornerstone at Greentree, an age- and income-restricted community less than four miles away that is slated for completion in the first quarter.
Cornerstone at Marlton will feature high-end interiors, an outdoor grilling and picnic area, half-court basketball, a patio area and clubhouse with fitness center, Walters said. The property will also have a staffed social services coordinator who is available upon request.
