Two New Jersey-based title agencies have joined forces in an effort to expand their footprint in the Garden State, the firms announced Monday.
Surety Title Co. LLC, a Marlton-based firm serving residential and commercial clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, said it has merged with Lawrenceville-based Title Village Title Agency. The deal was effective Sept. 1, in a move that’s meant to provide greater value to clients through the firms’ combined resources.
“We are proud to have Title Village become a part of the Surety Title family of companies,” said Brian Klaus, president of Surety Title. “Princeton and the surrounding region are an important and necessary addition to our footprint. We have found a great partner in Title Village and look forward to welcoming Richard Eland, his staff and the agency’s loyal customers.”
Eland, Title Village’s founder and president, said his firm “is excited to enter this long-term relationship and focus on the growth opportunities for both of our organizations.”
“It comes at a time of rapid industry changes and technological innovations in the overall real estate and title insurance businesses,” Eland said. “Pairing our longstanding reputation in the greater Princeton market with the capabilities offered by a larger high caliber organization like Surety Title Company presents us with a unique advantage.”
