The owner of a distinctive office building in downtown Bloomfield has refinanced for $7.2 million, in a transaction arranged by G.S. Wilcox & Co.
The commercial real estate mortgage banker on Monday announced the loan for the 76,192-square-foot building. CEO and President Gretchen Wilcox, Principal David Fryer and Senior Associate Wesley Wilcox sourced the financing with a 10-year term and 25-year amortization through Securian Financial, a correspondent insurance company lender of the Morristown-based firm.
The seven-story structure is located at 2 Broad St. Wilcox identified it as one of the most prominent buildings in Bloomfield, with easy access to the Garden State Parkway, Route 3 and other highways, along with the Bloomfield train station.
“We are pleased that we were able to secure such favorable terms for a new client for such a solid asset,” Wilcox said in a prepared statement.
