Woodmont Properties has broken ground on its latest multifamily project, with plans calling for 120 luxury apartments just west of Hackettstown in Warren County.
The developer said construction is underway at the 11-acre site in Independence Township, noting that the property sits at the northeast corner of Route 517 and Bilby Road. When complete, the complex will include a collection of one-bedroom, two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-den units, along with a series of amenities for residents.
“As there continues to be incredibly strong demand for new high-quality rental options throughout the state, especially within the suburbs, we’re excited to move forward on this community,” said Stephen Santola, executive vice president and general counsel at Woodmont Properties. “Woodmont Independence will provide residents with an outstanding resort-style living experience set within the calm of Independence.”
Woodmont on Monday detailed its plans for upscale interiors at the property, which is two miles from Hackettstown. Residents, meantime, will have access to amenities such as a modern fitness and yoga studio, a game room, a pool and work-from-home spaces including private offices, work pods and a coffee room.
The developer added that the site is accessible from Interstate 80, Route 46 and Route 206.
