Woodmont Properties has taken the wraps off a new luxury apartment complex in West Windsor, having already rented nearly a third of its 443 units at the site.
The development firm said the first phase of Woodmont Way, located off Meadow Road and just west of Route 1, is now fully leased after hitting the market in March. The company marked the milestone recently during a ribbon-cutting ceremony that drew its top executives as well as local officials.
“The incredible leasing momentum we’re seeing at Woodmont Way has not only outpaced our expectations, but serves as a true testament to the magnificent, vibrant community that’s quickly taking shape,” said Lewis Zlotnick, president of Woodmont Properties. “We’re confident Woodmont Way will continue to attract new residents, both drawn by West Windsor’s dynamic, thriving community, as well as the thoughtfully designed, best-in-class residences and its fabulous array of indoor and outdoor amenities.”
With more than 130 leases signed, Woodmont said the complex provides direct access to the Princeton area’s major employers, Princeton University and the vast selection of retailers and restaurants along Route 1. Renters have their choice of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, with upscale interiors, a private patio or balcony and access to garages and individual storage units.
Amenities at the property include a modern fitness and yoga studio, a game room and a golf simulator, along with a resort-style swimming pool and cabana, according to a news release. Woodmont Way also provides access to outdoor recreation options such as pickle ball and bocce ball courts, plus walking, hiking and bike trails and an adjacent golf course.
The complex is also three miles from the Princeton Junction train station, offering service to New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C., and easily accessible from several major thoroughfares.
“It’s been a very rewarding journey, working in partnership with the Woodmont Properties team, and seeing their vision become reality at Woodmont Way,” West Windsor Mayor Hemant Marathe said. “I was happy to learn that the West Windsor Planning board and Woodmont’s environmental initiatives also found their way in the latest New Jersey legislation requiring electric vehicle charging stations at new developments.
“We welcome the newest addition to our community today, and celebrate this milestone alongside everyone involved in helping bring this beautiful community to West Windsor.”
