Sherwin-Williams has leased 5,000 square feet for a new location in Maplewood, in one of several recently announced transactions by The Goldstein Group.
Neil Goldstein, a principal with the Paramus-based brokerage firm, represented both parties in the deal between the paint retailer and 1802 Springfield LLC, the landlord. Sherwin-Williams’ new space at 1802-08 Springfield Ave. is part of a property between Oberlin and Rutgers streets, about a mile and a half from Interstate 78.
The Goldstein Group’s other recent deals include a 4,850-square-foot commitment by Panera Bread at Hazlet Town Center, which sits at 3010-3070 Route 36 in Hazlet. Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein and Vice President CJ Huter represented the landlord, OASG Equities, while Curtis Nassau of Ripco represented the tenant.
In New Milford, Sales Associate Roy Paret and Goldstein represented The Brunetti Organization in a deal with Kessler Rehabilitation Center, which is taking 2,400 square feet at the Brookchester Shopping Center at 854 River Road. Scott Siegfeldt of Jackson Cross Partners represented Kessler.
The Goldstein Group also detailed a 2,500-square-foot lease by Popeye’s at 4053 Route 1 in South Brunswick. President Chuck Lanyard and Executive Vice President Mark Handwerker represented the landlord, K-Land No. 68 LLC, and the tenant.
“Our sales team has been extremely active,” Lanyard said. “Besides all the property sales we are involved with we continue to handle the leasing of retail space for landlords and tenants. There continues to be activity for restaurants, fitness and health-related retailers.”
