Value Cos. is continuing its expansion of a sprawling apartment complex in Randolph after leasing up a newly completed phase and starting construction on another.
The developer and owner said it has rented 24 two-bedroom units that it delivered recently as the second leg of The Point at Gateways, the addition to its Gateways at Randolph property at 44 Center Grove Road. Its third phase is now underway, with plans calling for another 36 homes.
Cheryl Byrne, leasing and marketing manager for Value Cos., spearheaded the lease-up.
“The quick lease-up of phase two of our Point at Gateways project affirms our belief that the demand for high-end living in Morris County continues to grow,” said Jack Linefsky, vice president of property management at Clifton-based Value Cos. “Our investment in The Point at Gateways will only continue from here as we usher in the next phase of construction with the groundbreaking of phase three.”
The developer announced in 2021 that it would add 104 homes to Gateways at Randolph, which consisted of 54 buildings at the time, to bring the property to more than 1,000 units. The new spaces have high ceilings, stone countertops and other luxury design elements, while residents benefit from community amenities such as a newly expanded and remodeled clubhouse with an event space, a catering kitchen and outdoor balconies, along with a children’s playroom and video gaming lounge, workstations, billiards and large-screen televisions.
The Point at Gateways will also have a new pool with a sundeck, a fitness center, new grilling areas and a playground.
