A biotechnology company has leased nearly 13,000 square feet of office space in Bedminster, in a newly announced transaction by JLL.
Brokers with the firm represented Eden Wood Realty, the landlord at 1 Cross Roads Drive, in the transaction with Tessa Therapeutics. The tenant, a clinical-stage company that is developing cell therapies for cancer, is taking 12,828 square feet within the two-building, 136,000-square-foot Eden Wood Realty Crossroads Business Center.
JLL’s Susan Mason and Robert Ryan, executive vice presidents, completed the assignment for Eden Wood, while Avison Young’s Tom Giannone and Ron Ganter represented the Singapore-based tenant.
“1 Crossroads Drive is ideally positioned to accommodate biotech companies seeking high-quality space in close proximity to a highly educated labor pool and the region’s growing biotech industry,” Mason said.
In a news release, JLL noted that the complex is minutes from restaurants, lodging and retail offerings, while providing direct access to interstates 287 and 78 and Route 202-206. Eden Wood has recently completed upgrades such as a renovation of common areas, while offering a full-service café with collaborative spaces and exterior courtyard seating.
