Onyx Equities has retained Cushman & Wakefield to market a five-building, 750,000-square-foot office portfolio in Parsippany, the real estate services firm announced Wednesday.
Known as The Arbors, the buildings at 1, 3 and 5 Sylvan Way and 4 and 6 Campus Drive are in the midst of a multimillion-dollar renovation, Cushman said. Planned upgrades include new lobbies, atriums, common areas and landscaping, along with updated elevators, façades and common corridors, seeking to capitalize on a location near interstates 80 and 287 and routes 46 and 202.
C&W’s Ben Brenner, David DeMatteis, Courtney Rosenkrantz and Raymond Trevisan make up the team working on behalf of Onyx.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Onyx Equities to lease The Arbors, an office portfolio that is redefining the workplace with a connected and interactive campus lifestyle,” DeMatteis said.
Other improvements at The Arbors will include monument signage, increased window lines, upgraded lobby and visitor security, refreshed restrooms and auditoriums and expanded parking areas, according to a news release. Plans also call for green initiatives such as electric car charging stations, living walls, full window replacements and upgraded HVAC control systems, with amenities slated to include employee lounges, outdoor dining areas, wellness paths, fitness centers and on-site cafes.
“Onyx Equities has a strong reputation for investing in properties upfront to improve the tenant experience,” DeMatteis said. “We are ecstatic to continue our longstanding relationship with Onyx and are confident that these renovations will be highly regarded and greatly appreciated by tenants.”
