A builder has revealed 10,000 square feet of upscale amenity space at a new 70-unit condominium building in North Bergen.
The firm, Skyline Development Group, is now marketing the property at 8701 Churchill Road and will look to lure buyers with perks such as a three-story wellness center for residents and their guests. The space includes a fully equipped fitness center with 18-foot ceiling heights, a host of training options and spa facilities, along with other offerings such as a co-working space with a private conference room, an owner’s lounge and a cliff-side roof deck.
Skyline and its partners, Vasco Ventures and Mosaic Real Estate, are working alongside The Marketing Directors at what’s known as Solaia. The building has a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, including seven private east-facing units per floor, with prices starting from the $600,000s and dwellings available for immediate occupancy.
“Solaia is now complete and ready to welcome homebuyers during the busy fall selling season with a comprehensive presentation,” said Louis Mont, Skyline’s founder and CEO. “We’re excited to show our prospects through our two-bedroom model home beautifully designed by Safavieh and finished amenity spaces, putting the unique Solaia lifestyle on full display.”

In a news release, the firm said Solaia’s owner’s lounge features a fireplace, billiards, a demonstration kitchen and event space. Meantime, the property’s roof deck offers a custom outdoor kitchen, grills, dining areas, fire pits and lounge seating.
Designed by Architectura and curated by Doni Douglas, Solaia features upscale homes ranging from 864 to more than 1,900 square feet, plus private balconies for most units, the news release said. The property sits just south of Edgewater and north of the acclaimed Port Imperial section of West New York and Weehawken.
“There’s great demand for larger, high-end homes that provide a respite from the congestion of New York City, but still offer great access to its work centers,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors. “Solaia delivers with upscale residences in a modern building that’s nestled in an elevated, peaceful Hudson County location, yet still just minutes from mass transportation into Manhattan. On top of that, its impressive amenities create a holistic and balanced approach to living that many sophisticated buyers are seeking. We’re thrilled to direct the sales and marketing for such a special building.”
